I am excited to present a Christmas fermenting workshop at Zu Cafe in Lewes. Working as their in-house fermenter & food-as-medicine chef, you will be guided through a hands-on session where you will create your own Christmas inspired lacto-fermented & cultured pickle’s, preserves and sauerkrauts. Also enjoy a take home Christmas gift for your friends and family.

Vanessa is a nutritional chef & holistic kitchen coach. She guides people to implement healthy eating habits and creates therapeutic eating plans and tailor-made food tuition for various conditions from gut health, autoimmune to hormone balancing. She also works as a fermenter & food-as-medicine chef at Zu Cafe creating all the gut healing pro-biotics & pre-biotics to compliment all the dishes. She is passionate about food as our medicine and traditional ways of eating seasonally and living symbiotically with nature. She believes in the importanceof nutrition and eating unprocessed foods that impact our personal health and health of our planet. She trained in culinary nutrition as a Natural Chef at CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine) and Macrobiotics with Simon Brown in London. She is currently continuing her studies in herbal medicine. She is based in Lewes, Brighton and London where she run culinary nutrition workshops and retreats.
